Rekordbox DJ + XDJ1000+DJM900 freezes using DJ pro link

Hi,

Recently I had troubles on my first gig using pack of latest version of rekordbox dj 4.5.0 connected to DJM900 mixer and XDJ1000 (2pcs). 

The problem was when I played music from the first player (from first XDJ1000) and did not touch any button of the second XDJ1000 for about 30-45 seconds (do not remember exactly) it went to "freeze'' or stand by mode and when I tried to load a track, touch any button etc, it did not react on my efforts,so the second player was  out of the game and I just could not woke that up. Only restart of player helped and it was happening all the time during my gig that was pretty nervous.

Also from time to time I received a pop-up notification/question to choose the deck (1-4) that I want to music from, but in fact it had been already chosen at start, do not know why it asked me again even during the track playback on master deck.

Did anyone face that problem before or could someone recommend me what could be the reason of that ?

You say you had them connected via Pro DJ Link (ethernet), but in order to use the hardware you listed with rekordbox dj as HID devices, you'd need to connect them via USB. Can you please clarify how you had everything connected?

Sorry for my bad English. You are correct, I connected everything via USB cables using USB hub port. Each cable (two from players and one from mixer) I connected to USB hub and then plugged to laptop. 

I also saw videos where USB cable from mixer was connected separately directly to computer and two players via USB hub together. Is that could be an issue ?

I recommend connecting the USB from the mixer DIRECTLY to the computer, as it needs the most bandwidth for the audio connection, the CDJs can connect through the hub as they are only needing control.

Please be sure your computer's OS has all the latest updates and that the correct drivers are installed for the players and mixer, and that they are using the latest firmware.
