Extend / Resize Loop without starting over (Without enabling Quantize)

I have gathered that I need to have "Quantize" enabled for an active loop not to to start over from the beginning when being resized or extended.

I don't use quantizing since it ruins some of the music I play, it feels time stretched as if it looses som of it's vibe.

Is there a way to resize a loop, without it restarting, without having "Quantize" enabled.

My model is XDJ1000 MK2
