2 Rekordbox Crashes (Last Nights Was During A First Dance)

Never had a crash on Rekordbox during an event ...however its now happened on two consecutive occasions using two different controllers, so imagine this has to be a software issue.

On both occasions I was in Performance Mode using Video to project visuals via HDMI to the projector.  

On the first occasion using the DDJ ...I loaded a track whilst the other deck was playing, as the track loaded the music just cut out. The speakers were still on, the DDJ was still on, the laptop still on ...just no sound, mic controls not working either and DDJ no longer in a responsive state as a controller. I restarted the Rekordbox Software / DDJ and everything was okay for the rest of the night ...however, I did notice that on several occasions there was an issue with the sound quality. On some tracks sound quality deteriorated ...sometimes sounded a bit like a flanger effect was sitting on the track, however there was no effect applied on either the mixer or in the software. On other occasions it sounded a bit like "buffering" or "popping" sound ...also noticed at seemed to happen more on the left deck than the right.

Last night was every DJ's worst nightmare ...a software crash during the First Dance. It happened same as above after I loaded a track on the other deck whilst the First Dance was playing. Again, all power remained on, however the screen on the RX2 froze up. Like last week after a restart of Rekordbox and the RX2 there were no further issues during the night. Again at various points during the evening there was an issue with sound quality exactly as described above and again more so on the left deck than the right.

Can anyone from Pioneer shed any light on what may be happening here ...following both incidents every track I loaded was filled with fear and have an event tonight and tomorrow to get through still.
