So Santa bought me DJM 250 mixer and I'd like to connect my DDJ SB2 and a couple of turntables. Since both the mixer and controller have sound cards I'm struggling to get them both working correctly in Rekordbox. I'm connecting them both to my MacBook by USB and the RCA outs of the controller to the mixer. The controller doesn't function correctly.
The only suggestion so far that might work is to use 2 Macs - with each device connected separately. Surely these two modern Pioneer units can work together with Rekordbox!?
Please help and save my Christmas!
@Matthew > Unfortunately, those two devices are intended to provide similar function (audio mix), so they are not designed to both be in operation simultaneously. As a result, you may find that only one of the devices functions as expected. We do not recommend using a DDJ-SB2 and DJM-250 in tandem. Your best bet, as you suggested, is to use them as two independent systems.
