XDJ-RX and Free Rekordbox License - I was not notified!

To the Pioneer DJ Team:

I'm a proud owner of an XDJ-RX since the beginning of 2016, coming from a pair of CDJ 800 MK2 and DJM 800 purchased around 2007, after a pair of CDJ-100S and DJM-300 purchased around the 2000s.

As a long time Pioneer customer, I came here and open this post to express my DESAPOINTMENT with this company, as I had denied my claim to receive a copy of the Rekordbox DJ. 

The short story is: When looking the internet to check fixes to some issues I was facing with my XDJ-RX, I discovered that Pioneer DJ offered for only 3 months a free copy of the Rekordbox DJ for XDJ-RX units purchased before November 1st 2016, which is my case.

I opened a ticked under the number #30372 explaining the situation, and my was petition denied.

Dear Pioneer DJ Team: How was I supposed to know about this short timeframe to claim my free copy of the Rekordbox DJ? I'm a genuine owner and sent the serial number, key number and even a photo of the back of my unit on the ticket, but the petition still denied. Can you reconsider my claim?

@Gustavo > We appreciate that you are a loyal Pioneer DJ user, however, the XDJ-RX never shipped with a rekordbox DJ license. The promotion was to allow existing owners to get a copy, as the unit now ships with a license included. This was a limited time offer and I'm sorry if you missed out, but the promotion is over. We recommend adding your email address to our mailing list (which you should have already done if you have converted your forum account to a Pioneer DJ account), and/or following our social media feeds (links at the bottom of this page).

Unfortunately there's nothing we can do. The ship has sailed, no more passengers may board. Sorry!
