I am having audio problems from the right main output. I have updated the firmware to 2.01. I have tried multiple USB and xlr cables, even a rca to 1/8. The audio is clear from the source to the headphones. There is a little distortion from the rca master out. I saw somebody else was having this same problem but could find the thread. Somebody please help so I don't have to send it off for 7weeks to get fixed as I gig everynight.
It's not a common defect as there are tens of thousands of these mixers in use and very few exhibit these issues. If you are experiencing an issue with the audio output, please contact Pioneer DJ technical support in your region to have your hardware inspected and/or serviced.

I got it figured out, I had to have the main board replaced. The tech said is was due to extreme heat that the unit was giving off.He said that its not the first unit to come in like that.

That's not common - there were plenty of DJM-900NXS2's at EDC this weekend in 115ºF heat and they weren't distorting.
I work for a hire company and we've got 2 DJM 900 NXS 2's down with the exact same problem (Distortion on the right main XLR output), sounds like there might be a common fault? Has there been anymore information/investigation on this?

One was on 2.01 and the other 2.03, both have the same problem, I tried updating the 1st one to the 2.03 version and the same problem is still present
One of these units is still covered under warranty but the other is not, I would like to find the most cost effective remedy, if there is one?!

I can confirm this issue happening to me, too. My unit is a bit more than 2 years old, with around 500-600 hours of use. Firmware version 2.05 (the latest one from December 2017). Last week I was noticing distortion in the right XLR output channel, I couldn't hear any distortion in the RCA outputs but I guess I'll have to listen to it more thoroughly.
