Hello. Everyday i like rekordbox more and more. But i am really scary how can i backup all my files, settings in case i will want to change computer, or move to another etc.
I want to invest in my mp3 tags, and rekordbox tags (color,my tags etc), but before a month i only change a path in some songs and i lost all my work. I cant thinking what happent if i want to change hard disk or pc or.......
Can you tell me, can i have EVERYTHING in an external hard disk? Analysed, songs, settings etc and if i plug in a pc with fresh installation of rekordbox, i instanly see all my work in my library.
@Gotham78 > The video @sp4rk linked below shows how to move it to an external hard drive, but what I didn't outline in that video is how to backup your rekordbox database / music, which can be done through the File > Library > Backup Library menu. That will create a backup zip file of your database, and you have the ability to include a backup of all your audio files as well should you select that option.
