DDJ-SB2 Hardware Defect with Play Button

Was anxious to get home this evening and power up the SB2. I have the SZ2 for the road and have no issues. The SB2 I wanted to have for very mobile gigs or during Cocktail/Ceremony music. However, after just minutes of use the Play Button of the right deck will cease to function - it will light up correctly, but the tracks just don't move in Serato. The Jogwheel moves, but again...no playback... quick google search yielded dozens of similar issues and no resolution. I've tried two different Mac Books, two USB cables, two different USB 3.0 ports and still the issue occurs.

BUYER BEWARE if you are considering a DDJ-SB2, this product has had a littany of the exact same user experiences that sadly seem to be ignored by Pioneer. I get these need to be analyzed, but the preponderance of users facing this issue and voicing the same concerns begs the question of if and when Pioneer will do anything. Being my first time interacting with Pioneer DJ support, I'm anxious to find out how this goes and will keep this andthe serato forums updated.
