@Florian > How many other wifi networks are in the area where you're using the R1 with your laptop?
Hi,
I have a recurrent problem on my XDJ-Aero. Sometimes, my controller lose the connection with my laptop for no obvious reason, and the problem is that happens randomly.
Once the connection is lost, it sets an emergency loop on the playing deck, but i can't do anything to fix it. I can't even switch to USB mode or something else. Moreover, when I try to reconnect Wi-Fi on my laptop, I can't connect to my XDJ-Aero network.
It's very annoying because I am supposed to do my first live show soon, and if I can't rely on my controller, I'm "dead" ...
Last time it happened to me was today. Here is the setup I used:
XDJ Aero - Last update
Rekordbox - Last update
Using Wi-fi with Rekordbox to put my songs
Hard Drive connected to the USB port to record a set
Please let me know if any solution exists because I really need to fix this problem.
Thank you in advance for your help.

Just mine, maybe sometimes there is the network from the neighbour but low reception
@Florian > Follow the instructions in this article to reset and reconfigure your XDJ-AERO's wifi settings, but when you get to the part where it says:
Instead of selecting AUTO, choose channel 1 instead. If you have problems with channel 1, go back and try channels 6 or 11 (these are the only channels in wifi which do not overlap).
Ok thank you. I gonna try it. But if the problem comes back, do you have an alternative solution, especially if this problem happens during a live set?
Hi again,
I followed your instructions but the problem seems to be somewhere else.
Indeed, it looks like the problem comes from a track that makes my XDJ-Aero crash everytime i try to load the track. And i have nothing else to do but unplugged the controller and turn it on again.
Do you have any idea why this is happening? Because the track works on iTunes, Rekordbox without any problem...
Thank you in advance for helping me again.
@Florian > Can you post up the file on a sharing site (such as Dropbox) so I can inspect the file for the cause of the crash? Thanks.
I need to tell you that i already have the same problem with some other tracks in the past, and I never found the reason to this problem.
Hey. Have you got feedback on the track I sent you?
I've loaded the same track by USB and WiFi link to rekordbox and had no problems playing it on my AERO (firmware 3.00).
Diagnosis of the track didn't find any errors or anomalies.
Do you have your firewall enabled or disabled on your computer?
That's what I thought, because I can play the track on iTunes without any problem :/
The firewall on my MacBook Pro is disabled by the way.
With rekordbox closed, can you try opening the Terminal and enter: sudo nfsd disable then press return and then re-launch rekordbox and try the track again.
