AutoGain isn't the "Be all / End all" of adjusting the channel trim; I still suggest, even if you have it enabled, that you pre-audition your tracks to set the peak level.
What do DJ's using Rekordbox DJ set their autogain at? I notice that I really have to ride the trims a LOT on the DDJ-RX. I love rekordbox but Serato does seem to have better autogain... I only have to adjust the trims a little... the levels seem a lot more consistent between tracks... unless I'm missing something or don't have RB DJ set up properly... thoughts?

At the risk of sounding stupid, where is the auto gain setting?
Release notes for RB 5.0 state: "Placed AUTO GAIN pots on the deck panels"
Using rekordbox 5.01 on mac for CDJ NX2's and I don't see it anywhere on the deck panel or in the settings.
Doing just fine without it, but want to make sure I'm not missing out...
Thanks
Provided you have the Auto Gain enabled in the preferences, you can open the Grid Edit mode on any track, set the adjustment here:

...and play!
Is there a way to use smaller increments than 1.0 dB at a time?
Also - finer adjustment of auto gain would be great - jumping 1.5 db at points is a bit much!!
With a pre-planned performance set, I'd like to see the ability to say hold shift, and adjust by 0.1 db rather than relying on the generic shift points!
What to do if I change the auto gain but it doesn't save the level?
I changed the auto gain, then loaded another track and loaded the first one again but it didn't save the gain level I put
If you don't save it, it doesn't save it.
I have xdj rx2. I dont see autogain anywhere. Must i be using it with Rekordbox? I normally dont use rekordbox live i just use usb sticks. thank you.
