Run DDJ-RR without computer

Hey Guys,

just received my new DDJ-RR mixer - so exciting :-)

Does anyone know, if its possible to play music with an external CD-player using the DDJ-RR as a mixer without being plugged in to a computer via USB?

 

Imaging my laptop crashes on a gig, I would be able to continue playing anytime...

According to my manual - if you switch it into standalone mode, you can only use the pitch faders, cross fader and trim.

i.e. - no bass, mid, high or filter.

So yes, if your laptop crashed, that should work (although I haven't tested it) - also make sure you are using the power brick too!
