@Ian > Have you used another application to ensure that each of your videos has some sort of metadata?
Hi, I've been importing a load of old mp3s and mpg videos from an old hard drive, and when I look for some video Mpg's in rekordbox I can't find them.
It's only when I go to the explorer section at the bottom left, go to the specific folder, and there I see some files with no artist, title, album or genre. They haven't even been imported to the collection.
After manually editing each file within rekordbox by right clicking, selecting show information, and then giving it a title, or artist or something that it then sees that it's a video (the icon pops up on the left of the file) and then it allows me to import it.
Short of using a file search facility and then using a file tag utility, surely rekordbox should see that there's no tag info for this track and then at least put the file name in the title field automatically?
Now I'm not sure if there are other titles missing from my imports.

That was my point exactly.... I'm sure there are lots of files without any metadata whatsoever, which rekordbox is refusing to import. So, my post was more of a "heads up" to pioneer to ensure that files without metadata are still imported in a future update.
That doesn't provide me with any tangible data; can you send over one or two of the files in question for our team to analyse?
