DDJ-SR FX2 Assign button blinking

My FX2 Assign button (2) is flashing as well.  Even when I put the controller into UTILITIES mode, does the same thing.

I am having the same problem as an earlier post back in March 2016 in this forum.  Also my computer no longer recognized that it is connected.  It turns on but the pads are on, load buttons, and a few others are on....everything else is not working and will not respond.  Thing is, this controller has only been used 2 or 3 times, and it has never been moved....seems unlikely that it would be damaged.

PLEASE HELP!!!!
