Can DDJ-SP1 work with XDJ1000MK2 and DJM700?
Hi Folks,
Really interested in adding a DDJ-SP1 to my setup but just want to ask first if it will work. Have searched google to no avail. Have checked the online manual and that didn't help either!
So, basically I have 2 x XDJ1000MK2's and a DJM700 mixer. Will the DDJ-SP1 fit seamlessly into my setup once I connect it via USB to my Player 1 deck (I have the XDJs connected with ther ethernet cable)?
Appreciate any responses, am looking to get this as soon as I find out if it will work with me or not.

Yeah, without PC. Not interested in Serato either. Really just want a device with physical butttons than the fiddly touch screen. I have now found out that my setup will indeed work but am hearing it needs to be connected to the top USB slot. Can it not be connected to the USB on the rear of the XDJ's? Would look a lot cleaner with the cable at the rear.

Thats what I would like too... but I guess that isn't possible from the nature of the port. USB A is an input where you plug in your device, USB B is the output of your device. You could try a USB B - USB B cable or a USB A - USB B plug.

Or a USB cable on the top with a 90 degree corner, so the cable goes to the back...

Hmm, that's a good idea. Will need to see if there are good quality hinged USB cables, ones I have seen before were cheap tat.
