Hi All,
I Have the Full Performance version of Rekordbox, Licenses etc on my Mac. For some reason when I launch Rekordbox and go Help > Rekordbox update Manager it is coming up that there is no more recent version than the one I am currently using, namely 4.5...?
Have tried restarting application, Mac etc but can get the automatic updated feature to see that 5.0 is ready to install.
If I go to the web site and simply download 5.0 it is installing a 2nd Rekordbox application on my mac alongside the previous version. Obviously cautious about this as my stored data and xml etc are tied to the previous version and it could get messy.
Appreciate on any info about how I can update within my current version and see if I can get the automatic updated to see 5.0?

The 5.x update must be done as a separate download rather than through the updater. This allows you to have both v4 and 5 installed in case there is an issue with running the new version on the computer.
You can run the same database without issue, there were no changes made to the structure that would affect v4.

Ok, Understand and thats great.
How do i ensure the database from 4 is used for 5 and all my settings etc stay the same.
I will launch 5 from the icon in the Rekordbox file folder, but do i need to transfer any other files etc from the 4 folder etc or what should i do?

You need to do NOTHING! The application data folder remains the same for both versions of the program.
If you use a shortcut on your dock to launch rekordbox, you may need to replace it, as it will likely still point to rekordbox 4.
