Gear/Setup:
I have a pair of RB control vinyl running from a pair of PLX-1000s through a DJM-250MK2 (inputs set to the far left computer icon for both channels) to the RB DVS app on my laptop).
Problem:
I can successfully control tracks on my laptop from this setup if I have the RB DVS app running in RELATIVE mode, but what I want to do it have it in ABSOLUTE mode to get "the traditional vinyl experience" (dropping a needle to skip through the track, putting it back at the beginning of the record to restart it).
The only two options I get when I click on the little grey box is REL or INT; INTERNAL means the application no longer responds to the control vinyl and the track stops.
So, My Question:
How do I access ABSOLUTE mode in RB DVS 4.5 to get the behavior I want?
Screenshots and forum advice I have run across mention right-clicking or control-clicking (I'm on a macbook) somewhere to get a menu that allows you to set it, but that doesn't reveal a menu for me. (I assume that's for an earlier version of RB DVS.)
Thanks!
