I've started recently experiencing an issue after using the controller fault free for years.
I have tried this on many Windows 10 computers and also an i3 iMac using different versions of Serato DJ 1.9 and the issue persists across all of those scenarios.
The issue is that on the right deck, if I press the cue button, it does go back to the cue point but continues playing. Sometimes if I press the button in different areas, it will go back to cue and stop. However, there doesn't appear to be an area where it's consistent. The left deck cue button however works completely as expected.
Also about 4 or 5 times during a 3 hour gig on Friday, pressing the cue button on the right deck actually made the track playing on the left deck go back to the cue point. Absolute disaster really!
I've completely lost faith in my DDJ-SR over the last few weeks with this issue. I'm running the latest drivers, latest firmware and have tried different versions of Serato from 1.9.6 to 1.9.9. I've also reset the midi settings to default, made no difference. So I do believe it's a hardware fault. There's been no spillages on the DDJ-SR and it's been well looked after. When I take it out, it goes with me in a quality flight case and is well protected.
I took the back off and blew it out with an air duster, I'm very technical when it comes to electronics and I'm guessing it's a problem with the micro-switch or something on the board. It's frustrating as I don't actually play that many gigs out but when I do, I want to use kit I can trust.
Like I said, it's been fine for many years but all of a sudden, this issue has arisen and really made lose confidence in the product and Pioneer.
Anybody have any ideas?
