I recently upgraded to RekordBox 5.0.2 from 5.0.1. I was able to transfer songs from my Mac Sierra to my iPhone. When I updated to 5.0.2 and tried to do this, my computer and phone would get disconnected from my wifi connection. After a minute or two, they would both be back on wifi and I tried this about 2 more times until both devices no longer connected to the wifi connection.
It turns out that the router stopped working. I connected the internet modem to my computer and was able to get internet. I then connected the router directly to my computer (obvs after connecting the internet back into the router) and the computer wasn't able to connect to the internet.
It appears that transferring music from my computer to my phone has ruined my router.
I did the following steps to fix the modem
1. Soft restart
2. Hard restart
3. Removing power cord
4. Attempting to reinstall the firmware but connecting the modem to my computer but my computer doesn't recognize the modem so I am unable to reinstall the firmware.
Anyone else having this issue? I assume the cases are low given that it's only been a day and not many people transfer music to their iPhones.

If you connected your computer directly to your modem and it worked, but not when you add your router, the problem is your router has failed - and you should contact Linksys / Cisco for that.
