Rekordbox DVS performance mode 2 XDJ700 and 2 technics SL1200

Hi,

I really really put everything tot test to get it to work, but i am unsure if it can be done. Read through everytihing i could find including this forum.

Followed the manual specifically, connected the 2 technics SL1200 and the 2 XDJ 700 to my DJM 750 MK2. Connected the DJM 750 MK2 to my MacBook Pro 2013 model with IOS 10.9.5.

Installed the yosimite driver for the DJM 750 MK2, download the control signal wav file. Mixer on USB mode for all four channels.

Somehow I can only get two decks to work at the same time, if I look under preference and the audio I can configure whatever deck I want. I can play either two turntables using the DVS control vinyl, or 1 turntable and 1 XDJ 700 with the control signal wav file. But no more then two decks at the same time.

I also used the aggregator file for mac, but I do not think that was the solution for this problem since I do not want the XDJ to be an audio output device.

I can see that there is a connection (decknumber 1 to 4 are all lit up), but only two can play at the same time using the control vinyl or control signal wav.

Does that leave me there is only support for two deck using control vinyl  / signal? Or am i missing something?

I put quite some hours in this, i really hope for an answer.

Regards,

Michael

@Michael > Have you properly configured the DJM-750MK2 setting utility application so the input channels match the source type for line or phono timecode input?

Additional question, why would you use DVS mode for the XDJs when you can take advantage of HID mode?

Pulse, thanks for the reply.

Indeed you are right, I go and went on the HID path for the xdj 700's. Two usb cables to a usb hub in the mac and a seperate usb cable from the DJM to the mac.

Used the setting utility, the "custom settings" under DVS tab part that is and then under the audio tab i used the "help utility" to define the settings, because the predefined part for turntables or xdj/cdj only shows either phono or line but none of those two simultaneously.

And of course as a mac user i used your software to connect both xdi's (instead of one).

As said in the above this took a lot of hours to get it to work, but it is completed now. Without wanting to put the blame somewhere, point a finger or anything like that, i have a few words of advise.

Why as Pioneer DJ with all the knowledge and perfect equipment you have write a couple of scenario's in the manual with your advise and preference. So in this case "recommend" HID mode, leave out the stuff of the "control signal wav" file, it is irrelevant and (for me) not working. Same goes for the LAN option as a scenario to connect to your HD. Advise people to buy that stuff in order to get the maximum out of it. Or inherit some good youtube videos already in place and re-engineer those and place them on your website. It would have saved me evenings and evenings puzzling. Nevertheless I am still glad you helped out Pulse. Thanks.
