I'm a young DJ on a tight budget but starting to do clubs I've already done a few and I'm looking to up my mixing ability and the rmx 500 looks like the place to start but I'm not sure if the rmx 500 will work with a ddj RB so if it does please let me know
Absolutely, but you'll have to connect it post-master (run the master output from the RB into the input of the RMX), and would not have the ability to affect specific channels of audio, only the master audio.

so it would still be able to do its job in full during a live show or no cause im mainly concerned that it can do its full job during a live show
Better than using it at a dead show. 😉
Yes. Just connect the audio out from the RB to the input of the RMX, then the output of the RMX to wherever it needs to go, and you'll have full functionality of the RMX.
