Can i "Hardware unlock" my DDJ-RR on Rekordbox 5?

As there is no hope to get a normal cpu usage on rb6 i want to step down to rb5. Yes my i7 mac will die soon because of rb6.

But rb5 wont unlock my controller, i dont have a licence and will use performance mode. It works on rb6 but not rb5.

Sadly no. The only devices that got hardware unlock with Rekordbox 5(.5) was the DDJ-800.

You will have to find somebody who has an old license and is willing to transfer it to you.
