[SOLVED] MIDI out while playing from USB?

Hi,

is it possible to receive MIDI CC notes in misc software when playing from USB stick?

(Read: not HID)

What I aim to achieve, if possible, is to be able to send MIDI signal to another program to sync when i press PLAY while playing a track loaded directly from USB-stick.

ATM my experience is so far that I have to go to LINK and enable USB MIDI which disconnects the USB stick?

I was under the impression while reading about the CDJs MIDI capabilities that it was possible to do this.

PRESSING 'PLAY' ON TRACK LOADED FROM USB STICK => 'PLAY' MIDI CC NOTE SENT VIA USB => SOFTWARE ON PC RECEIVES MIDI SIGNAL

I am aware I can use Traktor in HID and get midi signals that way, but that is not what I am after.

Like Nico & Vinz I have to ask "AM I WRONG"? :)

No; the hardware only transmits MIDI signal when in PC connect mode. Sorry! This was configured as such after previous hardware did continue to send signal no matter which mode the user was in, and users complained.
