With the 900 Nexus I noticed (With Sync on) it snapped in beat no matter what, never had an issue with the 2 players matching beats even if I wasn't spot on with my timing. With the 2000 Nexus, when I hit play to mix in with another song it double beats for a few seconds unless I am spot on and even then it might double beat as sync adjusts... Not sure if there is a setting or if it's just how the 2000 nexus cdj's are? It doesn't matter what song it is, it's not just one song that does it. I've adjusted the songs in RB.

You can hear how you have to make sure your beat grids are good and bla bla bla...truth be told, the sync on the 2000nxs sucks in comparison to a DVS like Traktor. I can't speak of the 900 nxs as I have never used one but the whole 2000nxs fw could use a little touch up!
I like my setup so don't think I am bashing, I just thought you would rather hear the truth vs the song an dance.

I understand this has been a topic before in several posts here on the forums. I really don't mean to start a new topic on something that has been posted before but I have not found an answer. @ Walter seems to be accurate with your comments as this topic has been out for several years now. I'm guessing a firmware update isn't the answer as these decks are about 3 years old. I guess I hope Pulse or Gavin or anyone really had an answer by now. I'd hate to return them but the 900 Nexus was tight and on beat when syncing, just not the quality and options I wanted VS the 2000 Nexus
Without having more detail, I'm going to suggest that one of two things happened... you didn't have your grids aligned properly to the beats of the track, or you have quantize enabled and started it off-beat.
I was using the memory button on the CDJ to set the first beat. I checked in RB and it was a few beats off for some reason. So yes it seems to be the grid, why can't the unit accurately set the cue with the memory button on the CDJ correctly?
