Active Loop Not Working on CDJ playback

Hi there, I set my active loops in rekordbox like i always have, but now on some tracks they aren't automatically loading when i'm playing out on my cdj900nexus anymore. they used to work like a hot damn. I thought maybe i had to update my firmware on the cdj to the latest, which i did, but active still isn't working on all my tracks. it just by passes them, even thought i see the loop cue point on the waveforms before it hits. any help?
