DDJ-RZ - Rekordbox

I'm slowly loosing the will to use my ddj-rz after having it for about a month now.
Really enjoy using it, when it's all working correctly that is.
There have been quite a few annoying little bits that have made me give my purchase second thoughts, such as having to turn the unit on and off multiple times before the unit is fully recognised and functions correctly. Even then there's still a few problems with things such as the volume pot on the software not responding with the unit but still having volume control? And just recently intermittent headphone output from use to use.
But I think a lot of my frustration lays with the software and my inpatients for all the bugs to be sorted and to actually be able to use it as intended and for prolonged periods of time.
Coming from hardware based dj equipment, vinyl/cds/usb this has been a bit of a shock.
I haven't even managed to record one clean mix yet without it glitching or there being a problem with the actual recording quality. And yes all of my specs supposedly add up.
I think it's has been far from a 'plug and play' experience and more of a 'plug in and turn it on and back off again, and on agai, wait.. no some things aren't working, restart rekordbox, pull out hair.. 20 mins later play a couple of tracks, max the cpu bar from using multiple effects at the same time, curse and give up for another day'.
I apologise if this is not the place for this kind of rant, but thought I should air my frustration in the hope that this is just temporary while the software grows and improves, as I appreciate the developers are probably working hard to improve the program.
I will hold on for a little while longer in the hope that the program will improve, otherwise it's back to the 1210s!
