The problem is you've formatted it exFAT, which is not supported. Please use FAT32 or HFS+ for compatibility.
With the XDJ-RX, files are limited to 10,000 on a USB stick. With RB DJ, since you're using a computer, is there the same limit? I assume not, but wanted to double check.

no being your laptop is doing all the work if you are connecting the RX to be used simply as a controller vs it being a full console with a USB stick where the RX would be doing all the work
I have a USB 3.0/2.0 PNY 128GB (Formatted exFAT) Stick and Have loaded it up with about 9500 songs. The songs are 320 mp3 and anywhere between 8 mb to 30 mb. I am trying to stream line the box but find searches go very.
SYNC from Rekordbox also goes very long at times sometimes freezing up.
I am not sure if its just to much stuff....
will that still get me to 128gb? Im on a mac,,,
yes, as high as you need to go pretty much, on a mac you can format it OS X Journaled also (HFS+) like pulse mentioned, I have 1TB drives connected to CDJ's with no issues
ok formatting now
Any Ideas on which Scheme to Choose:
GUID Partition Map
Master Boot Record
Apple Partition Map
GUID
Got it thanks!!!!! Works Marvelous
NOOOO! MBR! You want to use Master Boot Record or it won't be accessible by an CDJs or other Pioneer products.
Pulse, thats not true, I have been formatting mine for years like that and have no issues at all with GUID, i attached a pic of the drive i use all the time with my CDJ's

I set it up to GUID and is working fine
