Analyzation beatgrid needs some work!!!

OK so i'm a week into the trial and I've noticed some problems with the way the beat grids get set during analyzation. It usually only find the first down beat and sets a red marker maybe 5 out of 10 times. It tends to drop it a 1/2 beat too late or starts off with a blue marker and not red. I also have found that when it sets a memory cue during analyzation, this gets set where the red beatgrid marker should be. SO how is it it can find the first down beat to set a memory cue but not the red marker or the beatgrid ? At this current stage i'm having to manually set my beatgrid for 90% of my tracks. Come on Pioneer you can do better than this!!!! I have high hopes for you!

Pioneer you really need to focus on improving the auto beat grids. For a person like me, I have a library of over 10k tracks. I refuse to go through every single track and have to reset the beatgridding manually. Traktor seems to have this figured out . Especially being that every effect, and auto loop, and even the slicer relies on a proper beat grid. As of right now, I cannot forsee myself spending $129 on this software until I see the next update. As of now 4.0 isn't cutting in in several instances.

I also have problems with tracks where the tempo fluctuates between fast and slow. I've never really tried importing tracks to other software as it might be too expensive to either obtain or trial. If the other software packages have got it as close to perfect, why hasn't rekordbox? The only work I really want to do is place cue point milestones at different areas, fixing a 9 minute track's beatgrid isn't fun.

John, I believe what you are experiencing is dynamic analysis. Go into settings and change it to Normal. Obkynuse Dynamic of you gridding out tracks that you known don't have a constant BPM. All Electronic Music should be analyzed in Normal.

Yeah, I've only had troubles with a small percentage of tracks, check that you're not analysing consistent beat tracks with dynamic mode, or conversely, live drummer beat tracks with normal mode.

Most of my music is breakbeat. Not 4 on the floor straight beat. Like I mentioned above. With the option set to assign a memory cue during analysis it seems to find the first downbeat for setting the memory cue. But not the first red marker. When it does find the first downbeat it tends to set it as blue not red .
