I am using an xdj-rx and i wish to connect to my Toshiba Intel core i5 laptop and it is not working with the ethernet connection. I also tried using a usb in which it did show connected on my xdj rx but, i could not link both to gether (when i send the songs it only plays in my computer and does not play on my xdj rx). please advise on what i need to do. Thank you.

Do you see the link button in rekordbox after you connected the RX with your laptop via link? Otherwise, try to disable your antivirus and firewall and restart rekordbox. Maybe you have not enabled the link function in your firewall. After doing this you can enable your antivirus and your firewall again.
