DDJ-SB2 not complete!!

I got this machine new, how ever I do not like Serato cos it runs not stable on my laptop and want to use Traktor. Pioneer is selling this device to make money, why the hell don't they include a full working mapping for Traktor, Virtual DJ and others? Because people maybe like the controller, but wants to use their own software and they decide to go with another controller, cos this SB2 is not supported by other software!

Also I do not understand, why the manual do not show anything about midi mapping commands. I found a mapping PDF file in the net, comes from Pioneer, even this one is showing wrong datas! Could also not find anything about the midi out commands to see all supported LED options (solid/blink/off etc.)

So I really need to know, if there is an official mapping file for Traktor out there. If not it seem, that I will send back the controller to my dealer and get one which supports also Traktor. I have no acceptance why factories do not do this kind of simple work to increase their income.

Pioneer has the SB2 mapped for pioneer software, it is not up to them to make traktor and serato work with it, the SB2 is ready to be used for them but it is up to serato and N.I. to write the code into their software, not pioneers

DDJ-SB2 IS a Serato controller. Works fully with rekorbox and VDJ license does include SB2 specific mapping if you don't want the "full" license or something if I recall correctly.

wrt to traktor, you can find mappings although not official (well, I couldn't) but there are mappings.

Again, DDJ-SB2 is sold as a *Serato* controller so, if you fancy Traktor and want a fully supporter controller, you should've read about compatibility with traktor before moaning about it.

I know that this controller is bundled with Serato, but in fact it is a MIDI controller and can be used with any other MIDI software.

How ever, I found this Serato not good, I am used to Traktor. I installed a few unofficial Traktor mappings for SB2 but they do not work as good. Making my own mapping is a hell of work and therefore I am going to send back SB2 and get another one, which is supported by Traktor.

What I am trying to say is, I am surely not the only person with this problem. You should think how many SB2 controllers are send back because of this issue. The manufacturers can sell much more if they just do a little of more work!

Case closed, I am not owner of a SB2 since today.
