Top half of Rekordbox DJ GUI not displaying

On the 4th re-launch, the problem cleared itself up.

this is a Problem with older Intel on board graphics... got the same on an older core2duo ThinkPad. Workaround is to Switch to Export mode and back to Performance mode for me - than it's fine...

Are you using an NVIDIA graphics card?  Rekordbox seems to absolutely suck when using NVIDIA. I have 2 computers running NVIDIA and RBox has major display graphics issues with them with respect to the display panels. For some reason the waveforms seem to be ok.  The other computer I have (without NVIDIA gpu) appears fine.

Btw-one of my computers is 16gb 2.6 i7.  All computers are updated with the latest drivers and show no problems with any other program, including (all legit) versions of Serato and Traktor.

If your computer runs a NVIDIA graphics, it seems like Rekordbox is not the program to use.

is suggest disabling the discrete nvidia graphics in bios and using only the onboard Intel- this will help, in this case.

So... are you suggesting that I cripple my computer for every other application I use in order to use Rekordbox?  This seems like a severe band-aid hack instead of a real solution, doesn't it??  Perhaps Rekordbox should have just advertised DOES NOT WORK WITH NVIDIA before I paid for a new computer and purchased the software.

And, why would you suggest doing it in the bios, instead of from Windows?  (I'm not sure the difference).

yes i know thats not ideal, but rb dj ist still in an early stage there might be a fix in near future for this issue, so many users with nvidia Cards out there.

but as Long there is no fix you have to use Workarounds. on some Laptops it only works fine if discrete graphics are disabled in bios stage, on others it works fine if disabled in Windows. i think you know how to set up which Software uses which graphics Driver in Windows, right? simply set it up to use solely the onboard graphics for rb dj and it should be fine for the Moment.
