Ever since Rekordbox 4, I've had a myriad of issues exporting my libraries. On one drive, it's a constant 'cannot write to USB/export library'. It's got too much on it currently for me to reformat, so I've walked away from this drive for now
Another drive I reformatted twice and have synced a number of playlists to. My preferences have it set for XDJ-R1, but it does not build the library - just ejects like it were a CDJ library. I've restarted, reformatted again and reuploaded, to no avail. I just want to play music :( How can I force library creation?

Are you getting the message that you need to click the drive to create a library? If so, export the tracks (playlist) to the drive and then once it is done exporting the tracks you will see a folder nest to the eject icon on the drive. Click the folder and it will create the library then.
