Record direct to Rekordbox with DDJ-SR ??

Hey guys, I'm considering getting the DDJ-SR to use with Rekordbox. I just recently bought the XDJ-R1, but the problem with the unit is that it doesn't have a simple easy way to record direct to Rekordbox with good sound quality.

So my question is, will I be able to just press 'Record' on Rekordbox and have my mixes record directly from the DDJ-SR with just having the controller hooked into my laptop via USB?

@Chris > Yes, you can record directly to rekordbox dj with the DDJ-SR. You may want to follow Rick's advice and wait until the DDJ-RR comes out next in June.

I am also considering the XDJ-AERO as it has a slot to record direct to a USB stick.

Any recommendations for which unit/method would record my mixes with the best sound quality. Thx!

In anycase, you might want to wait just a bit longer and get the ddj-rr which is the ddj-sr sibling and was just announced. It'll integrate with with rekordbox seamlessly
