CDJ 2000 NX2 - MIDI CONTROLLERS (SP1 & FUTURE MIDI PAD SUPPORT FOR SX2)

Hi Pioneer just wanted to ask a Q regards to the new CDJ 2000 Nxs2.

More of a midi related enquiry. So far - new units have been excellent. Great build quality and none of the file loosing issues the MK1 Nexus had when it first came out. They were fun to use this weekend I have a SP1 and DDJ SX2, and was interested to see if the SX2 was yet compatible with plugging into the Nxs2, directly to harness its Midi capability like the SP1 does so well.

It didn't work - but alot of the LEDs did light up and there seemed to be some sort of functionally to it - that could be easily accessible and sorted with a firmware upgrade (there was sort to expand on the MIDI controller plug in USB to control pads when the Nxs2 was launched a few months ago) To see al the LEDs light up - not to actually work but it did give me thought with some firm ware upgrades, in time it would be possible to get this to work. Like the SP1 does Also with the Colour SX2 pads, this would then match up to the new Colour Hotcues on the CDJ - this would be an AMAZING upgrade.

Also people with other Pioneer controllers would be able to use it in this way. The SP1 and the midi logic behind the SX2 - it seemed to be similar. The Nx2 was defo talking to the SX2. Which I think thought with some refining - could work successfully going forward.

Certainly as a customer with both products it would be great to see you adopt this - the pads next to the (SX2) - are so easy to use - this would greatly enhance DJ Experience Looking forward to your suggestions on this matter
