@Graeme > Sorry to hear of the unfortunate timing of this issue, but you'll have to contact Pioneer technical support in your region to have the unit inspected / serviced.
Ok so at home I have X2 CDJ 2000 Nexus and X1 CDJ 2000 connected to my macbook pro via USB. I use Traktor SP2 to control the CDJS.
After bringing my CDJ 2000 back from Boomtown Festival I started getting the E-8302 PLAYER ERROR (3611) error appear in red text on the HUD Display and once it displayed the screen would not show any new data or information like track names etc... it would be frozen with the error flashing.
The error would show up in red on the screen like the image shows but the CDJ would still work and play tracks from traktor even though the error had locked the HUD.
As we have set coming up we thought we would leave it and practise and get it fixed after... Now its just died 3 days before our gig. UGH!
When i boot up the CDJ it says waiting with a spinning wheel and nothing works. Link, USB and CD all just say waiting with a spinning wheel.
I did a firmware update and this fixed the CDJ for about 30 seconds then it went back to the spinning wheel.
Is this problem within a warranty fix? Iv looked after my CDJS extremely well and i feel massively let down buy this happening. Forking out over 3 grand for some equipment you would expect it to last a bit longer than a year or two!!
Anyhow any information towards getting this fixed or explaining what it might be would be greatly appreciated.
