DDJ-sx freezes but serato still working

i have a ddj-sx and mac book pro with el capitan, about 4 hours playing, the controller lights freezes and i can't do anything, nothing respond. but the serato software still playing the music, so i have to turn off and turn on the controller to play again.
the serato software, OS X and firmware are updated.

MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Mid 2014)

2,6 GHz Intel Core i5

8 GB 1600 MHz DDR3

Intel Iris 1536 MB

I'm using a external HD G-Drive 7200RPM with thunderbolt

Serato 1.9.1

Os X El Capitan 10.11.4
