Wanted features

I was searching a little bit for somewhere to post this, but i didn't find anywhere obvious.

1. Duplicate intelligent playlist. I love the afterhour gigs, going through my library and using all the tags i spent so many hours creating, putting all the tracks in the exactly right place at the right time. it takes such a long time to create new playlists with a bunch of attributes to them. duplication would be such a bliss.

2. Option to remove track(s) also from the hard drive when removing from collection. With the new rekordbox and all its features, there is no need for me to use any other application for music whatsoever, everything is done here. so i want more control.

3. Party-mode. just a little switch (with a password lock) that makes any critical changes impossible, like deleting tracks, removing playlists, etc.

4. iTunes. i don't know how to remove it alltogether. is that possible? if not, then please!

5. Inline list editing is great sometimes, but a pain in the ass sometimes. especially when the track gets de-selected when i click the tag window and then want to click the track again and then it sometimes wants to start editing the tag info. i would prefer to press command-I (like in itunes) where a little popup gives me all info i want and need.

6. Choosing folders in your hard drive(s) to sync and look for new music.

7. Export iTunes-like library for use with other applications (and for the option to totally ditch itunes alltogether)

8. Write all the my-tag data to the physical music files as an option.

9. Popup menu when right-clicking a track shows what playlists include that track.

Just a few thoughts to streamline at least my experience a LOT for making awesome mixes with an awesome software!

3) Sorry, this isn't iTunes.

4) Already in the preferences under View, uncheck this box:

5) Consider using the INFO panel on the right:

6) You can't "sync" to folders, you need to import the music to rekordbox. There is no way to automatically add/analyse folders on your drive, nor is this a good idea for technical reasons.

7) Serato doesn't export for use with other applications. Traktor doesn't export for use with other applications. rekordbox CAN export an XML file already!

8) That tag is exclusively for use within rekordbox as it's not a standardized tag across MP3s or metadata fields on other filetypes.

9) Already exists - select any track then click the little triangle to show the info.

10) Users already complain about the speed of export, that sounds like a reason for users to complain even more, not cheer for a beneficial feature.

I also want that the Colour affect on/off botton and select is mappeble.

10. Convert ALAC / FLAC to AIFF during the export on USB. It is starting to be a mess with between venues with NXS and NXS2 with tracks that works ans doesn't...

No worries, I know some of your comments are things we're still working on but I wanted to make sure you got the most out of the features that already exist, especially as sometimes they're not easily identifiable or obvious. ;)

I know it makes the transfert slower but it doesn't have to be mandatory, right? When Rekordbox wasn't accepting FLAC / ALAC it was straightforward, we got an error message, a quick AIFF-isation on our side and we were good to go.

But now that Rekordbox doesn't differentiate files, it starts creating issue with tracks that I didn't know were ALAC (I have thousands of them, I can't check them all) and I end up having files that doesn't work at clubs still with NSX (and I can't possible make a USB for NSX and an another for NSX2).
