do you have the quantize feature on? this effects when cues will hit and if the beat grids are off then the cue will not hot when YOU want it to if quantize is enabled on the decks

DDJ-RZ hot cue buttons not always reponsive
I recently noticed that with the latest version of RB (4.0.8) that the hot cue dont fire 100% of the time in performance mode. Even when I hit it quite hard, i've missed cue points at recent gigs. I mash on it again, and it seems random when it will fire. I know its not a mechanical button actuator because the pad efx and slicer always work.
Hopefully this new bug will disappear in the upcoming 4.0.9 release but wanted to post just in case this hasn't been reported.

Nope that was my other issued that I posted about a few times. Apparently they're looking into that one.
This is hot cues not firing AT ALL. Like missing drops completely.
I haven't found a way to reproduce it other than saying it happens 1-2x in a 4-5 hour set.

I experienced the same problem on 4.1.0 on OSX, I have to press the button couples time before it fired, I think the problem is with the software itself.

UPDATE -- I happened to be practicing on RB without my controller, just software itself and noticed the issue again. So it appears it is not related to the controller but just the software. I had a gig last night and had missed some cue points because of this. my work around for the night was to use the CUE button, since that one always seems to 'fire'. It did make it impossible to do beat juggling :( I will update to 4.1.0 this week and post if it's fixed, but looks like its not accoring to Earthh Choochipra...'s post.
