Rekordbox 4.2.0 Link Issues
Mixing out live last night i found issues whilst trying to load cue points on the cd players, it would jump around the track slightly and take a while to load the cue point. Then once it had, it would have the loop in and out flashing as though a loop was active. I was able to get through luckily but have since come home to test and the same thing happens. Also if i try to drag a tune direct from rekordbox onto a player it completely freezes up the player with the time remaining continually flashing.
I use my Mk1 CDJ2000's with Macbook Pro, a TP-link gigabit switch hub and cat 6 leads using Rekordbox link and have had no issues prior to this update.
Please repair this asap, i'm now having to downgrade to the earlier version :(

Major issues all around. Same as above, along with cue point issues. It's like they didn't even test it on their own equipment.

I guess fortunately in a way for Rekordbox users theres really no reason to upgrade to 4.2, its mainly for video and performance mode users

Played out last night and it was a disaster. Decks links to my Mac - pressing the go to next cue point button on the CDJ caused an unreadable file message on the decks. Plus the decks froze about 10 times through the night. Had to switch to back up USBs and frantically copy tracks over. Not happy with Pioneer at all. Shoddy work.

Terrible update, reaction speed of my cdj 2000 Nex are SLOW puts the tracks in loop mode?? and much more...... Dont instal this Update DONT!!

It seems there are a number of users having issues with 4.2.0. The downgrade to 4.1.2 is recommended at this time, you will not lose your collection.
Additionally, you can revert to a previous version of your database through an automatically created backup in the rekordbox folder:
Win 7/8/10: C:\Users\yourusername\AppData\Roaming\Pioneer\rekordbox
OSX: /Users/yourusername/Library/Pioneer/rekordbox
Rename datafile.edb to datafile.edb.old
Rename datafile.backup.edb to datafile.edb (removing .backup)
rekordbox automatically creates a backup each time you launch the software; if you have opened / closed v4.2.0 more than 3 times you may not be able to recover your database in this manner. Please check the date / time of the backup files in order to choose the most appropriate version.
