Help with isolating the cause of this ProDJ Link issue. Possible bug in latest build?

Hi guys,

I'm a full-time DJ working various clubs all over my extended area. I've recently decided that it would be best to take advantage of the laptop whilst performing extended sets. However, i'm running into a very specific issue.

Setup: 

CDJ 2000 Nexus

Macbook Pro Retina Mid-2012 

OSX 10.10.5 Yosemite

Apple thunderbolt to ethernet adapter

Issue:

Both with and without a USB hub (direct to single deck and both via hub) i'm experiencing tracks going into emergency loop. I actually managed to get through 2 hours without a hiccup the other night, but ever since it has been causing me problems early on in my sets and happens fairly frequently. Like once every three tracks.

I've tried an assortment of cables and several different pairs of CDJs with no luck.

Could this be a Rekordbox 4.0.1 issue and is there a specific version that you could recommend to rule out an issue with the build?
