While I'm not mixing, I still use my SB2 as a sound card for both of my operating systems (Windows 10 and OS X 10.11). OS X is my preference by far, and I'm considering removing Windows.
One thing I've noticed is that under Windows the SB2 will allow me to use both the RCA out and headphone out for other audio besides Serato, while on OS X it will only output to the RCA.
Any one else have this issue? Is there a workaround?
Pioneer support didn't have much to say except that the unit isn't really designed to be used in this manner, I just find it more convenient to use this way rather than switching sound card settings and cables back and forth.

Tbh icant use mine as a soundcard. Whenever I launch foobar, a.e., it gives an error. Same for media player. I have windows.
The only software that can output from the sb2 is RB.
I'm always caught on this one when my headphones are still connected to the ddj :)
I recall trying to map mpchc to force the sb2 as output one time but no luck.
Maybe I missed something or not quite getting what you need
