Problem with analyzing songs - waveform

Hello, 

I am kind of new to CDJ's and Rekordbox, so sorry if I have a stupid question. The problem that I have is the fallowing I have a track let say songA, I go into DJing software like traktor, virtual dj etc. I analyze song A and everything is fine I get a nice gradual horizontal waveform, where I can easily identify phrases and other events. I go to rekorbox and I analyze the same song A to get it ready for the CDJ and for some reason I get a weird waveform with a lot of vertical lines going up and down all over the track which prevents me from seeing what really is going on.  Those vertical lines show up most notably on the high parts of the songs, but some show up on the lows as well. I tried other computer  & other tracks and the same thing happens. Any ideas how to fix it and get a nice waveform on the rekordbox?

Do you mean the Beatgrid? Its supposed to show you the beginning of a new bar (the red lines) and the beats in between (the white ones)

youre probably zooming out too much on the waveform....use your mousewheel to zoom in more further...that way the grid obviously will expand and you should be able to see whats going on... i am always zooming in the most it can, that way u can also set the gridmarker (and of course the cue points) just perfectly.
