Just one option...............
Hi guys.
Newbie here, so my apologies if this topic has already been covered.
I currently have a 2011 MacBook Pro, which I use with my CDJ-2000NXS and DJM-900NXS when doing mobile events.
I connect this to my CDJ's etc using CAT5 cables from ethernet port, to an ethernet hub, and then on to each deck and the mixer.
Currently, I am contemplating purchasing the new MacBook Pro but have noticed that they don't have an ethernet port.
If I were to purchase one, how would I connect it to my set up using Rekordbox??

this one too, I have tested this and it works

the USB-C one posted above is good for the new MacBooks, I'm not sure is the new Macbook pros though support that adapter yet, I thought only the new thin MacBooks do
Important !
If you want to use Rekordbox for free (Export modus) you can use your nexus set ONLY per Ethernet ( i use the original apple ethernet to thunderbold connector)
if you want to use Recordbox DJ (you need an license-then you can switch to the Performance Modus) then you have to connect your cdjs by Usb to your Macbook !!! (I use an usb hub from Hama)
Figured it was safe to assume he knew this as he mentioned how he currently connects his setup.
I do however think the Apple advice from both Terry and BriChi is best advice. Was only giving an example but as with most things OEM is best.
@ BriChi - You are correct I didn't even think of that but wouldn't a thunderbolt>ethernet adapter be better as to not lose the already scarce USB port?
What's even funnier I didn't even realize my 15" MacBook Pro's didn't have the ethernet port!! LOL I use my 2012 12" MacBook Pro with Rekordbox which does have ethernet so had no idea........... WOOPS!!! haha
I have
yeah, they're all over the place now, who knows what they have anymore, lol
