What piece of gear to buy?

I currently have a DDJ-RB, which I do like, but I am planning on upgrading to a better piece of gear. Now both the DDJ-RZ and DDJ-RX have caught my eye, however recently I've also been checking out the XDJ-RX.

I find it quite tedious to bring a laptop whereever I'm going since my current one is getting rather old and slow, which in itself means that I don't feel comfortable djing on it. Therefore I am starting to be more and more interested in buying XDJ-RX.

In Sweden, where I currently live, the DDJ-RX is going for about 1000€, XDJ-RX 1500€ and DDJ-RZ 2000€ (rough estimates).

My thinking is that if I were to buy any of the DDJs, I wouldn't stand my current laptop and therefore I'd have to pay a couple of hundred euros for a new one. However I also feel that the XDJ-RX has less features than any of the 2 DDJs so I might miss out on those. I still love the idea of being able to DJ at i.e. my friends place without bringing a laptop.

What experiences do you have with any of theese pieces of gear? Any recommendations or tips?

Well by experience I use de XDJ-RX now for more then a year with USB Key analysed in Rekordbox 3.3.0 and it works fine no comments to say to this peace of gear which is wonderful.

You can make very good partys with it and getting the most out of it with FX, EQ, Beateffects it's superbe. But then you get limited in making your own beats and neede a four channel.

I've purchased the Traktor S8 from NI....very good gear but had dropouts,glitches with it and couldn't fix the issues even with a Very powerful PC.

What I've done is...I tried the xdj-rx in midi mode with rekordbox dj....and I've done a few gigs of 6 hours a few times ....without having any issues with Rekorbox DJ.

So I'm thinking to purchase the DDJ-RZ with Rekordbox DJ .....and hopping there will not be issues with it.
