I am running 2 CDJ-2000NXS and DMJ 2000NXS. All are connected to laptop via USB and I'm using the DJM mixer for audio output (External Mode). When playing videos in Performance Mode, can the video cross fader sync with the cross fader on the DJM 2000NXS? I have the "AV SYNC" button engaged but it doesn't work.

I'm using DDJ-RX and AV SYNC it works proper with crossfader, but the issue in rekordbox is that (i think so) you can't do midi map for video function, also you can't add shortcuts for video functions.
How works video functions at your laptop, smoothly without interruptions?

I had a similar setup except I was using a djm900 nexus.
Anyway, I believe to get the video cross fader function to work with the mixers cross fader, you have to turn on the midi function on the mixer and then midi map the crossfader to it in the midi learn/assign section of rekordbox dj.

Provided you already have the drivers installed and the DJM connected, you don't need to map it - you just need to click the button to connect the audio and video crossfaders.
