I can't speak to the Reloop, but the DDJ-RB has a reasonably normal audio output when compared to other Pioneer DJ products.

Pioneer DDJ-RB Sound quality
Hey!
The sound quality why bad? My previous controller Reloop Beatmix with Virtual DJ 8 has better sound quality, much powerful. The sound is lower in rekordbox with DDJ-RB.
Too much high sounds and less bass.Why? I turn up the volume and too much High and much less Bass, Lower sounds. I turn up the volume on Reloop at same level, and it has better sounds, appropriate High and more Bass, lower sounds.
The booth controller and software outputted from a pair of M-Audio BX8 D2.

So the DDJ-RB purposely has low sound quality? Too much high sounds and less low sounds and bass. It sounds bad. When I turn up the volume the high sounds is screaming and it has not enough low sounds to balance it.

It has to be something to do with your settings because my DDJ-RB sounds perfect! The High's, Mid's and Low's are all in perfect proportion, even when pushing the master at full power!
