Error while opening 'Bose AE2 Soundlink'

Hi, I have purchased a new set of Bose headphones today as per the title. They are bluetooth wireless headphones, I have paired them to my Mac very easily they are working with iTunes, Firefox, Spotify etc. When I open up Rekordbox and try to prepare a track the audio does not come through.

I have gone into Settings; Audio and tried to change the Audio output from 'Built-in Output' which is standard on the Mac to the Bose AE2 Soundlink but the message appears as per the subject line above.

Using these headphones for Rekordbox was half the reason I bought them in the first place so I am hoping there is a fix for this? A driver that needs downloading perhaps although I cannot find anything as yet?
