4.2.1 Update Questions

  • Enlarged waveforms of tracks playing in rekordbox dj are shown on the multiplayer’s screen when a PC/Mac is directly connected using only USB cables (USB-HID control).* 1

So my CDJ 2000NXS2 players need to be in HID mode and then the large waveforms are viewable?
Can I leave my LAN cables connected for when using Link?

 

  • Recording in EXPORT mode
    • Recording of audio input from hardware connected via a USB cable

Does this mean I don't have to use Audacity and line input of my Mac?
Can I record a mix this way?

For now recording of analog sources is only available in export mode. I really hope it will be possible to record mixes in performance mode soon.

So do I connect a USB cable from my DJM 900NXS2 into my Mac and then I can record my mixes directly from within rekordbox in export mode? (I don't use rekordbox dj).

Does it connect in either USB port on the mixer, A or B?
