Great job on 4.2.1. You have fixed one of my major issues that I report on after each update since the first 4.0.0. -Quantize now WORKS for hot cues and can round down to the nearest beat and round up!

I played with it for an hour yesterday and had no stability issues. I think my computer got less hot too! Where there some under the hood changes for the Mac version? Love the new effects, and will likely purchase them soon. Thanks again for a job well done.

What problems did you have witch quantize, I'm wondering if it is the same issue I'm having with my Windows version. My issue is that hitting the hotcue button a fragment of a beat to late it skips one beat or 1/2 depending on the settings.

Yes that was the issue. Unless you hit the hot cue earlier than the beat, it will move it to the next beat or half beat. So was hard to do any kind of advanced routines.. Sometimes even bring in a new beat during a drop resulted in a trainwreck!
This is fixed in 4.2.1, so I am very grateful! Also seems much more stable and seems to be a little more responsive as well!

Thank you for your response I appreciate it, hope they fix it soon for Windows because at the moment I cannot really enjoy my new DDJ-RX and Rekordbox DJ jet :(
I downloaded the update but haven't had the chance to play with it yet. I'm excited about this fix too. It was one of the worst bugs in Rekordbox.
I've trainwrecked so bad before thanks to this that I conditioned myself through paranoia to jump que a quarter beat before, even in Traktor. It'll take a while to get used to the fact that it works now...
Hum, nope the hotcue quantization doesn't seem to have been fixed in 4.2.1 after all. I'm still going offbeat if I hit a smidge too late.

Tried Rekordbox on a Mac today.
Quantize bug not fixed :( on 4.2.1 What am I doing wrong, fresh install default settings.

The first click is just in front of the beat (Good), the second is just behind the beat, than it wait's 1 whole beat before it kicks in. This is also with Hot cue's that are not in the beginning of the track.
Pioneer please fix this it on top of my whish list.

Unfortunately I jumped the gun, the quantize bug isn't fixed, although pulse mentioned in another post that it is high priority for a fix.
Also, I initially thought the new version was ran cooler with less CPU usage but I was wrong on that too. Hopefully there i a fix for that.
Interestingly, Traktor (which seem much more stable) and runs cooler, just released a new version where all the updates seem to be under the hood - focused on stability..
