cdi 2000 nexus s2 firmware won't open as a file on my mac

hi guys. I've tried to download the new firmware update for my new cdjs on a new mac. however i can't seem to open it i have tried a few apps to open it but it says its an unrecognised file format. its probably something really simple. is there a certain app i need to open it? thank you

Hi,

are you trying to open the .upd file? This file cannot be opened on a PC or Mac. This file has to be copied to a USB drive and the update instructions for the CDJ have to be followed.

Have you read the instructions?
