REKORD BOX IS KILLING ME

The last couple of years I have learnt that almost every single software developer is under a lot of market pressure and has big problems to keep up and in the meanwhile deliver software that is finished. I think you have good point even better what I would like to see is the option to pay for software when it does what it's supposed to. No cure no pay, but this is not possible off course because they need money to develop. Sadly this money is not used to properly test the software anymore. Instead, what is happening now is the end users are testing, that's why our feedback is so appreciated, and why is that..? Its free!. Sometime I would like to think there is going to be a testers fee for all the work we do. But U know, that costs money and everything that costs money is not interesting. That's why my boss is not ringing me up in the weekend to ask if I would like a raise.

I think At the moment Pioneer is trying to get ahead of the game by implementing Video but the software "Recordbox DJ" in my opinion is not finished yet and that's disappointing because you and I buy a product with some expectations that aren't met. And Yes there is a trail version butt be honest how can you really test the software without the proper hardware. My mouse isn’t a Mixer whit platters and effect buttons.
I started to see the bugs and things that were missing (compared to other software like Traktor) as soon as I hooked up my DDJ-RX and started really using the software.

So I told myself to wait it out and be patient and give feedback and suggestions one by one. I’m not telling you to do the same but in my opinion this is the only thing we can do at the moment.

I have one suggestion for Pioneer, do you want to be the best with your software just like the hardware, invest.
What do I mean by that, organize a test convention put all your Rekordbox hardware in a big hall, Invite people like us, give us food and drinks and a we provide you free live feedback. This creates a band with your customers and gets you ahead of the game and leave the rest far behind.

My advice for software developers is, finish the house and then start building the garage.
